Born out of then Zen arts, ensō, or Zen circles, are an opportunity for the practitioner to embody the unseen workings of Zazen practice. Monica uses ink, iridescent pigment, and other materials capture the ineffability of time in moment to moment experience. The brush, ink, and paper become a direct extension of body, mind, and the universe.
Each of the paintings below is an original and is signed, dated, and most are name stamped.
